Kanstul bugles are the choice of top military service units in the United States. The US Marines use Kanstul bugles in the key of G at the Marine Barracks Washington, and these are the first valveless bugles used at the historic "8th & I" since the Korean War. Kanstul bugles are also used by the Maryland National Guard Honor Guard, Blue Eagles Total Force Honor Guard at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, California, and by many members of the all-volunteer organization Bugles Across America.
Special bugles were commissioned by The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band of Texas A&M University. These "Ceremonial Bugles" are used in the elite "Bugle Rank" by senior cadets.

Kanstul coach horns are used at racetracks around the world to play the "Call to the Post", signalling the beginning of each race. These fine instruments are also often used by Horn Sounders to signify special events from the Hebrew calendar. In 2002, Kanstul Musical Instruments was commissioned by the World Coaching Club to build a specially engraved coach horn to be presented to Queen Elizabeth II in honor of her Golden Jubilee. We're told that the Queen was so taken with the instrument that she carried it with her and later displayed it as a centerpiece at the Royal Dinner that evening. As well, Kanstul coach horns can be found decorating Sleeping Beauty's Castle at Hong Kong Disneyland.
Our good friend Jay Cohen, the bugler at Santa Anita and Hollywood Park has performed the Call to the Post over 80,000 times in his career, much of it on either a Kanstul coach horn, or one of Kanstul's Model 910 Herald Trumpets.
Additional options would be alternate keys such as D or Eb, and bells of copper or bronze.
